What a weekend!
It is a little known fact that I looooove fireworks. I mean, really. Who doesn't love them? But me, I am like, uber crazy about them. If I am driving, and alone, I willpull over if I see fireworks. I know, crazy. Which usually makes the 4th of July one of my favorite holidays. That and the whole patriotic thing. I kinda dig it. Chris and I went to the Angel game. We had great seats and saw some pretty good fireworks after. These are only a few pictures. (All the pictures in this blog are from my phone. I will post better ones later.) The Angels won, and we were sitting in the first row above the bullpen. Pretty nifty eh?
Sunday was the big day. Angel Game Day. We got the girls hats and they each picked out something from the souvenoir store. Avi picked a pink money and bia picked a bear. They had chicken stars and watched the game. I think they had fun.
What A game is right!
The next day, saturday, was WALL.E day. Now, let me say, I did not want to see it. I thought it looked kinda silly. A robot left on Earth to clean? Nah. BUT, it was REALLY cute! Eric came down so the whole family could see the movie together at the El Capitan with Eric. Chris and I took Avi. She got a WALL.E shirt, a WALL.E button, and a new "Pretty." She ate way too much pipcone (as she called it), and seemed to really like it. She kept saying all weekend "I go see WALL.E again!" Afterwards, we went and picked up Bia and we all went for pizza and chicken at Red Vest. I think there were about 40 of us all together. Nice day.

tell me that isn't an andrea face? i told her to smile or people would think we kidnapped this little white girl, stuck in the middle of 40 brown people...and DeeDee.
There is her smile, with Evie and her WALL.E shirt and button.

Rally Monkeys on their backs.
How cute is that face?
After we got home, it was still hot, so into the pool we went. Now, I can't speak for Chris but it has been about 3 years since I went swimming. The water was soooo warm and the girls loved it. We had them on our backs and were chasing each other. Lots of fun.

But eventually we had to get out of the water.
So it was a busy weekend. Today is Chris' birthday and the girls are still with her while I am working hard (obviously.) :P More pics and stories to follow....

3 Nieces! Can you stand it?
To quote my Aunt Rita..."look at all the girls!" My cousin Andrea and her husband Jimmy just welcomed their third daughter. Shelby Amelia Anne weighed in at a mere 9 lbs, 9 oz. 21 inches long.

I feel so lucky to have them in my life. That Jimmy and Andrea let me be a part of their lives. I seriously don't remember what it was like before I had my nieces. The love I feel for them is unimaginable...and more amazing yet, they seem to love me too. So little and so full of love. The smiles, the hugs, the goofy little quirks. I am sure a lot of you get sick and tired of hearing me go on about them, but...well..too bad! hahaha. I just hope I can be a good aunt to them as they get older. The bar was set pretty high. Their Nana was (and continues to be) an amazing aunt to me and my sister. Well, to all of her nieces and nephews I am sure.
Moving along from my nieces (which, really, how hard is that!) I turned 30 this year. Yikes. I had a great party though. My family was there, my closest friends were there, and I had so much fun. Mardi Gras themed parties are fun, especially when people are NOT flashing their boobs. Lord knows I did not need to see my Grandma's goodies. lol.
Awww yes, good times. LOL. My dad is turning 50 this year and once again, the Flores backyard will be turned into a theme party. Harley Davidson this time. Should be fun. We are going to try to...no, wait. I won't spoil the surprises. Stay tuned for that one.

Can you image what she would have weighed if she was not over 20 days early? Now, I can't be certain, but I am pretty sure she is a genius just like her big sisters. (Must take after their Auntie Linda.) ;)

Chris and I have a busy weekend coming up. We are going to the Angels game on the 4th of July, going to see Wall.E with the family (and Avi) on the 5th, taking Avi and Bia to the angel game on the 6th, and then the 7th is chris' birthday, which means her week long birthday extravaganza begins. She usually celebrates her birthday all week.
Well, I guess that is it for now. I will write back next week with updates on the weekend and lots more pictures. Take care everyone...
